5C closed US$605 million in new debt financing led by Brookfield Asset Management, on top of the US$835 million in equity and debt it raised in 2025. The money will go to its priority sites, the acquisition and construction of its Memphis campus, and its Ohio and Phoenix campuses.
5C and AMD announced a strategic collaboration to develop AI campuses ready for AMD Helios rack-scale systems. The two are working on a wider roadmap of AMD-optimised capacity, and initial deployments are underway in Ohio and Memphis for different neocloud customers.
Mila, 5C and Hypertec announced a Sovereign AI Research Hub at Hypertec's global headquarters and technology campus in LaSalle, with total investments of up to $250 million. The hub will offer up to 3 MW of secure AI infrastructure capacity, and the campus will host Hypertec's and 5C's operations.
